Golden Veranda Vows

A sunlit Kandyan bridal session at the old manor

Morning light slips through the old doors and finds her first—poised on the veranda, jasmine pinned to a classic Kandyan bun, goldwork catching every ray. He waits along the colonnade where lanterns hang and antlers watch, and together they borrow the house’s quiet elegance: framed in doorways, traced by shadows, held by stair rails that have kept a thousand secrets. She laughs while fastening bangles; he steadies her hand on the steps. Mirrors gift soft reflections, corridors paint them in stripes of light, and the garden hums just beyond the balustrade. It’s a study in texture and tenderness—hand-beaded saree, crisp suit, white roses, warm stone—woven with glances that say everything. From first light to the last long shadow, this session is heritage wrapped in glow: intimate, graceful, unmistakably theirs.
